Stayed here in late December. This inn is tucked away but convenient to so many places - most importantly the beach and a grocery store! It's a very short walk to the pier. The rooms are newly renovated, very clean and bright. Mike at the front desk was very kind as well. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom quite spacious, especially the shower. They are refreshing all the rooms and they look really nice! This is perfect for a comfortable place to lay your head down after being out and about all day. If you have mobility concerns be sure to let the office know. I didn't see elevators for the upper floors. The parking is tight and limited but we were able to find very close street parking when the lot filled up.

Location of this place had me skeptical but room changed my mind. Rooms are very nice and clean. Only issue is shower is in room. They need add privacy curtains for families so everyone cant watch you shower. Very limited parking. Its a block from the beach. The staff very professional and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again.

The newly renovated rooms were very nice! The bed is super comfortable and we were a short drive from major locations, especially the beach! |The parking is limited and pretty tight in the back, but we had no issues on the street or finding parking in general. |We only stayed one night, but I think it would be great for a long weekend getaway!

Positive: Nothing. It's a scam at that price. I could have been at Anaheim's Hilton for almost the same $$.The beach near it is not nice. It is surrounded by fast foods, 2 petrol stations and one great food store called VONS, the only nice thing about this 3 days. Negative: It is probably the worst hotel I have been into in my life. The Indian family running it are not in the standards of the hospitality business.Apart from the rooms (great photoshop work in the photos), there is just a horrible surrounding, 0 common areas

The room was nice, but beware the shower is all glass and visible in the room. I was traveling with my daughter and we had to hang the comforter over the shower glass walls for privacy. Parking is nonexistent and finding the place is very difficult. Location is good, I guess, in the fact it is practically right on the beach.....that's about it. Not terribly expensive which is it's highlight.

Nice room w comfortable beds. Super close to beach, pier, Vons Grocery, and 2nd St. shops/restaurants. However, three things really bothered me: 1. No microwave, which would be ok except: 2. No coffee pot or coffee maker, or at least some way to heat up water. The manager refused to give me any when I asked. (I always carry instant coffee with me when traveling!) 3. The beds have built in lights with sensors that illuminate the ENTIRE room every time someone gets up in the dark. There is no way to shut them off. I figured out i could climb off the end of the bed and sneak around them, so as to not wake up my wife. 4. Oh yeah, the toilet room has an auto light switch, that has a super bright light, that can not be turned off. So if you happen to be like me, and go pee in the middle if the night, you will get spot lighted, and probably wake up your partner. All in all, it was a long, BRIGHT night. And no coffee to make up for it. We don't plan to stay here again.

This place is great! Amazing location: walk 2 sec to the beach, grocery (Von’s), amazing Mediterranean (go to Gypsy’s every night). My friend who I was supposed to stay with wasn’t feeling well when I landed, so I needed somewhere affordable for one night last minute. TBH when my Lyft dropped me off after dark he gave me Dad-look like, ‘you sure about this?’ Because all you can see from the street is one of those small motel windows that says Vacancy. There’s a teeny tiny office desk, the guy working was super nice and we exchanged recs for good food. (He told me the best pita is at Sababa in Anaheim!) The room is exactly as pictured. The bed has a motion detector nightlight. Decent sized little fridge. I would 100% stay here again solo, it also nails the lowkey honeymoon vibe so I’d love to return with my hubs. Great natural light. Super clean, everything is new, hot water, comfy bed, clean towels, full size toiletries, hangers - all that stuff. No coffee or microwave but I didn’t miss either. The only improvement if they had the budget would be a sheer curtain so you don’t have to pull the entire blind down or go to the toilet to change. But that’s a convenience so nothing lacking. It’s a quality renovation, it’s still old bones (read: thin walls) but the other guests were quiet and I sleep with brown noise anyway so it wasn’t an issue. I felt safe the whole time, courtyard is well lit, place is super small and chill. There are folks who hang in the Vons parking lot or near the Pier but nothing wild or unusual. I actually wound up staying a second night, which was welcome. I ran the beach morning and evening. Walked easy beautiful 15min to “The Library” coffee shop to remote work one afternoon. I hope they’re able to keep the rates this affordable and continue to have success. Would recommend. I’ll be back! FYI: My first night in Room 10 was $111 after tax, the second night went up to $145 - I probably could’ve bargained or switched rooms but stayed where I started bc I liked it. I’ve stayed in the fanciest places and the worst places and this was just right.

We came to get away for my Husbands 40th birthday. We are locals but we absolutely loved our stay. The rooms were really nice and the bed and pillows met our needs. It is surrounded by the greatest coffee shops and food. We can’t wait for our next little getaway
